Process - risk control

We employ a number of internal controls designed to dampen volatility and reduce risk. Collectively, these internal guidelines help to reduce risk and enhance performance over time. For example:

  • The Fund is invested in between 60 and 100 holdings.
  • The Fund seeks not to invest any more than 25% of the portfolio in any one industry.
  • The Fund targets companies that are growing earnings at a rate of 30% or more.
  • The Fund typically buys securities with market capitalizations within the range of the Russell 2000 Growth Index at purchase.
  • The Fund never buys more than 5% of trading float.
  • The Fund stays below 10% of the issuer's outstanding shares.
  • The Fund does not buy more than 10 days trading volume.
  • The Fund typically contains less than 1% cash.
  • The Fund rarely exceeds 4% in any one security.
